Trichocereus cuzcoensis seeds HUANCAVELICA Peruvianus
If you are looking for great quality Trichocereus cuzcoensis seeds, this type is the one for you! It´s super high quality Cuzcoensis seeds from Huancavelica. This regional type is somewhere between Trichocereus cuzcoensis and Trichocereus peruvianus, but definitely more on the Cuzcoensis side of the spectum.

There only is very little information about this strain other than that it comes from Huancavelica and is supposed to be a cuzcoensis. Huancavelica is a city in the Quechua region of Peru and we are currently making seedling grafts in order to find out how this strain is going to look like.
The seeds are high quality and have great germination rates. I tested them a couple months ago and I had great results. The photo does not show the mother plant, but it´s probably a similar type of plant. Those seeds represent a certain regional type but are nursery produced and not stolen from nature. That´s important to me.
The plants I germinated turned into very healthy and great looking seedlings, despite their young age. I will update this page with some more photos of the plants we grew from this seeds. I am also growing some of them for my shop, but it will probably take another year or two before I can make them available.
Flower: The flower of this beautiful species is white, just like the flower of many other Trichocereus species. It´s very similar to the flowers you can see on Trichocereus peruvianus, but with some slight differences.
Cultivation: Trichocereus cuzcoensis are very easy to grow and are similarly tough as other Echinopsis or Trichocereus species. They are very forgiving and like to be watered on a regular basis in summer. But make sure to keep them out of hard frosts!
